General Criteria

IANZ General Criteria for Accreditation publications are the primary criteria for accreditations provided by International Accreditation New Zealand. The criteria are international standards developed by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and/or the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), and approved by Standards New Zealand. These standards are adopted and implemented throughout the world by other accreditation authorities. For accreditation programmes for which there is no specific ISO standard, IANZ publishes a New Zealand Code.
