Whether you are preparing for accreditation or just looking for guidance on how to improve confidence in your inspection services, this course is for you. Inspection is not a precise science, however, there is an international standard designed to maximise confidence in inspection services. ISO/IEC 17020 was written by inspection organisations for inspection organisations and their clients.
Accreditation by IANZ to ISO/IEC 17020 is increasingly a requirement for inspection service providers in the regulated sector of the economy. Accreditation to ISO/IEC 17020 is also increasingly accepted as a means of demonstrating competence and reliability in the voluntary sector. Accreditation therefore provides a market advantage in the ever more competitive inspection field.

ISO/IEC 17020:2026 Standard
Courses in 2026 will be based on the newly revised ISO/IEC 17020:2026 edition. Differences between the old and new versions will be incorporated in the course. Participants must bring their own copies of the standard to be referenced during the course.
